Serving Midwest City, OK

The 2024 RAM 1500 and the 2024 RAM 1500 Classic are full-size truck models that are closely related. However, despite extensive similarities, there are critical differences between them. Our team at David Stanley Dodge always focuses on supporting each shopper with thorough model research, and we are committed to helping you find a new truck that you love.

Performance

The 2024 RAM 1500 Classic is available in only two trim levels. The entry-level powertrain is a 305-horsepower, V6, 3.6-liter gas engine. The upgraded engine is a 395-horsepower, V8, 5.7-liter engine. These engines are both associated with an eight-speed auto transmission. The RAM 1500 is available in seven trim levels and three engine options. Most trims have the same V6 and V8 engines that are available in the RAM 1500 Classic. The TRX trim level has a V8, supercharged 6.2-liter engine that produces 702 horsepower. All of the RAM 1500's engines come with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Appearance

There are subtle differences between the RAM 1500 Classic and the RAM 1500 across their exterior designs. These full-size trucks are substantial in size and make a strong statement on the road. The RAM 1500 Classic has smooth door panels with pinstripe accents on the bottom. The sculpted hood rolls slightly at the end to draw attention to the tall, molded grille. The LED headlights are large and slightly rectangular. On the other hand, the 2024 RAM 1500 truck has sculpted door panels with slight definition rounding over the haunches. The headlights are comparable to those on the RAM 1500 Classic but are accented with upper and lower LED ribbons.

Features

The RAM 1500 Classic has a 7.0-inch or 8.4-inch central display screen with a UConnect system and voice controls. It also includes a 7-inch digital instrument panel, a dual-zone auto climate control system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, keyless entry, a navigation system, voice recognition, heated seats, keyless entry, a wireless internet hotspot, a ParkView rear backup camera, adaptive cruise control, full-speed forward collision mitigation, remote vehicle access, and RAM Connect. The 2024 RAM 1500 has these features and also has an available 12-inch infotainment system screen, a surround-view camera, a head-up display, a Harman Kardon sound system with 19 speakers, a digital rearview camera, and numerous additional features.
